I was born in Cnoc a' Stolaire, a small townland in the parish of Gaoth Dobhair in west Donegal and received my early education at Scoil Chonaill, An Bun Beag and Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair.

I then went on to study Fine Art (Painting) at The Regional Technical College (now The Institute of Technology) in Letterkenny, in the hope of becoming a latter-day Picasso.

My interest in cartoons goes back to my childhood years. Some of my work has been seen in local publications in Donegal and it features regularly in beo.ie, an online magazine for Irish speakers.

My favourite cartoonists include Tom Mathews, Gary Larson (The Far Side), Terry Willers and Graeme Keys and Ian Knox.

I now live and work in Dublin.
